Life Flight Network Expands H135 Fleet with New Airbus Order

Life Flight Network has signed an agreement to acquire five new Airbus H135 helicopters. The contract was finalized on October 26, 2026, during the Air Medical Transport Conference held in Fort Worth, Texas.

This order serves as a major expansion of the operator’s H135 fleet. The organization previously committed to three of the same aircraft type in 2025. The H135 is widely recognized in the air medical services sector for its safety technology and performance across varied terrain, including the mountainous regions of the Pacific Northwest and the Intermountain West.

CEO Ben Clayton noted that these additions are part of a broader strategy to support the company’s critical care mission in diverse and challenging environments. The H135 will join a fleet that currently includes various rotor-wing assets and the Pilatus PC-12 NG for fixed-wing transport.

Airbus representatives stated that the H135 is designed for high-intensity operations. The H135 family has accumulated over eight million flight hours across global medical and utility configurations. This purchase reaffirms the operator’s reliance on the Airbus platform to maintain its reach across its operational regions.
