Gulfstream G300 Revealed: Specs, Range, Cabin, Price

Welcoming a new aircraft

Gulfstream has officially revealed the G300, a super-midsize jet that replaces the G280. It brings a 3,600 nm long-range cruise, room for up to 10 passengers, the new Harmony touchscreen flight deck, and 10 panoramic oval windows. Gulfstream is signaling deliveries around 2027.

Why the G300 matters

Super-midsize buyers seek transatlantic reach, lower operating costs, modern avionics, and a quiet, comfortable cabin. The G300 is Gulfstream’s answer, slotting in as a tech-forward successor to the G280 with more Gulfstream-family DNA in the look, feel, and cockpit.

Cabin and comfort

The G300 carries over the signature Gulfstream experience to a smaller class. You get two distinct living areas, seating for up to 10, an aft vacuum lav, and plasma ionization air purification. The big story for passengers is the low cabin altitude and acoustic treatment that aims to make it one of the quietest cabins in business aviation.

Avionics and safety tech

Pilots get Gulfstream’s Harmony Flight Deck with six touchscreens and phase-of-flight intelligence to streamline workload. Standard tech includes Synthetic Vision-Primary Flight Display and Predictive Landing Performance that shows real-time stopping points to help prevent runway overruns.

Gulfstream says it has logged thousands of hours of lab and ground testing already, including a simulated first flight in its integration test facility, and the company displayed a full-scale mock-up at the reveal.

Timeline and market position

At the reveal event in Savannah, Gulfstream leadership indicated deliveries are targeted for 2027. The G300 is positioned against Praetor 600, Citation Longitude, and Challenger 3500, with range and tech meant to compete head-to-head while offering the signature Gulfstream cabin feel.

Industry reporting pegs list pricing guidance around $28.9 million at launch. Expect that to evolve as the program advances.
