Avincis, a leading provider of aerial emergency services, announced on June 15, 2026, that it has signed a contract for up to 15 Airbus H145 helicopters. The new aircraft will be integrated into the company’s existing fleet, primarily to enhance Helicopter Emergency Medical Services and offshore transportation across Italy, Spain, and the Nordic region.
The H145 is equipped with Safran Arriel 2E engines and the Helionix avionics suite. The platform also features a four-axis autopilot, which is designed to improve flight safety by reducing pilot workload in complex environments. Airbus noted that the model maintains a low acoustic footprint and competitive carbon dioxide emissions for its class.
Avincis CEO John Boag noted that the H145 was selected for its reliability and performance in demanding conditions. For Airbus, the deal reinforces the role of the H145 as a versatile, multi-mission platform capable of transitioning between life-saving medical duties and the requirements of the energy sector.
The addition of these 15 units supports the company’s broader strategy to modernize its current fleet of over 220 aircraft. With more than 1,800 units in service globally, the H145 continues to be a staple for operators requiring high availability in specialized aerial missions.
