The system, which features a dual 14-inch display configuration, moves away from the traditional model of fragmented third-party hardware by utilizing a vertically integrated architecture.
By owning every layer of the technology stack, including flight computers, software-defined radios, and autopilot servos, Airhart aims to solve the maintenance and installation complexities often associated with legacy avionics. The system is weather-sealed and features redundant flight computers designed to maintain operation if one unit fails.
The standout feature is the platform’s context-aware capability. The system monitors flight inputs and radio traffic to provide live text transcripts of ATC instructions and suggest optimal configurations, such as flap settings, based on real-time density altitude. This data integration also powers a pilot proficiency dashboard, which tracks performance across different phases of flight.
Targeting the experimental, light sport, and Part 22 MOSAIC markets, the complete package is priced at $49,900. With an intuitive interface modeled after consumer technology, Airhart is positioning this platform to lower the barrier to entry for new pilots while providing advanced, transparent automation for experienced operators.
