Aviation Capital Group Places Record Order for 75 Airbus A320neo Jets

Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has announced a firm order for 75 Airbus A320neo family aircraft. This agreement represents the largest purchase in the lessor’s nearly 40-year history and further cements its commitment to modern narrowbody technology.

The aircraft are scheduled for delivery between 2032 and 2035. According to the company, the contract includes provisions for conversion rights, allowing the lessor to adjust between different variants within the A320neo family as market requirements evolve.

Thomas Baker, CEO and President of ACG, noted that the deal reflects the company’s outlook on the sustained demand for efficient, new-generation single-aisle jets. The move extends the lessor’s order pipeline well into the middle of the next decade, providing clear capacity for airline customers focused on fleet replacement and expansion.

With this latest acquisition, ACG’s total orderbook for the A320neo family has increased to 115 aircraft. This long-term delivery window underscores a broader trend among major lessors to secure future production slots amid ongoing supply chain constraints, ensuring they remain positioned to supply global carriers with fuel-efficient equipment through the 2030s.
