Signature Aviation and UrbanV Formalize AAM Infrastructure Alliance

Signature Aviation and UrbanV have officially launched the Signature UrbanV Alliance (SUVA). This joint venture, introduced during NBAA-BACE 2026, marks the move from planning to active implementation of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) infrastructure across the United States.

By leveraging Signature Aviation’s existing terminal footprint, the alliance aims to provide a foundation for early-stage electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) commercial operations. This strategy focuses on integrating charging capabilities and aircraft handling services into established aviation sites rather than relying solely on greenfield developments. The approach intends to provide manufacturers and operators with immediate, functional access to airport facilities.

The partnership plans to evolve this network as demand increases. Beyond current aviation facilities, the alliance intends to develop dedicated, purpose-built vertiports to extend connectivity into urban and regional centers. SUVA is positioned as a common platform, working alongside municipalities, real-estate owners, and aircraft operators to establish the necessary technical and regulatory frameworks. The collaboration serves as a centralized hub for both companies to coordinate their U.S.-based AAM infrastructure projects.
