Cirrus Aircraft has introduced the TRAC10, a new light aircraft developed specifically for the flight training market. This addition rounds out the manufacturer’s existing TRAC family, which includes the TRAC20, TRAC22, and TRAC22t models.
Unlike previous entries in the series, the TRAC10 is designed from the ground up for instructional use. It features a three-seat cabin intended to facilitate crew-based observational training. The aircraft is powered by a turbocharged Rotax 916 iSc FADEC engine and incorporates the standard Cirrus Airframe Parachute System alongside a Garmin flight deck.
To support fleet operations, the aircraft includes Cirrus IQ for digital monitoring of maintenance and flight parameters. Cirrus reports that 13 flight schools have already placed 100 orders for the new platform.
Manufacturing will take place at the company’s Duluth, Minnesota, facility. Pricing begins at $499,900, with initial U.S. deliveries scheduled for 2027. International operators can expect to receive their first units in 2028.
