Gulfstream G800 Speed Record Achieved En Route to Dubai
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has confirmed a new Gulfstream G800 speed record during a flight from Phuket, Thailand, to Dubai. The aircraft completed the trip in 5 hours and 38 minutes, traveling to the Dubai Airshow 2025. This accomplishment adds to more than 760 city pair speed records across the Gulfstream fleet.
Performance and Demand Strengthen Gulfstream’s Position
The newly certified G800 continues to attract strong interest worldwide. With a range of 8,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.85, the aircraft provides nonstop access to major global markets. Gulfstream president Mark Burns highlighted the growing demand for long range capability and reliable operation. The G800 appears alongside the G700 at the Dubai Airshow, where the G700 is recognized for more than 90 speed records.
Cabin Design Focuses on Health and Comfort
The G800 features a low cabin altitude, advanced air purification and a quiet interior meant for rest and productivity. These enhancements support long duration travel and reinforce Gulfstream’s focus on passenger comfort and operational efficiency.
